Sorry about not posting for so long. My schedule keeps me rather busy, and I usually prefer to use my free time playing games rather then doing something more constructive. Sometimes I think of things to post here, but I get home and forget half of what I wanted to say. It kind of goes this way with my writing.
full download fifaAnyway, I've decided that I've got to get back into roleplaying. Due to the often fluid nature of my schedule, I've decided to go with a play-by-post style game rather then the traditional kitchen-table style or LARP.
There are a couple of ways I could go with this.
#1: I could go to a forum like D&Dplanet.com and join one of their pbp games. However, I'd rather leave myself open to other games.
#2: I could go to one of my regular forums like evula.com or Underworld Productions. However, I don't know if I could get a board of my own at either of those places. This is probably the way I'll go, but I'm leaving my options open.
#3: I could get a forum with a free host like proboards.com. Unfortunately, I really don't like other forums besides phpBB (it looks awesome), and those kind of free hosts are often very slow.
#4: I could start a web story with rules. Most web story participants prefer the free form style of a traditional web story, so players would be hard to find. I'd like to work on a rules set for this type of game, but the time factor rears it's ugly head again. This is something I'd really like to do, but it doesn't seem very likely right now.
Well, those are my options. I guess there's a fifth option (do nothing), but I'd rather not consider it.
