DSR 9500 EMU v 2.7Here I am, sitting in my dad’s friend’s trailer typing this. Of course, I’m typing in a word document, and I am going to cut and paste this into my blog as soon as I get home. Yes, trailers do NOT have a telephone line, and I have the dreaded AOL, so I can’t connect to the Internet. NOOOOO! No internet [even if it is AOL] for TWO WHOLE DAYS!!!!! Anyways…
Yay! It’s the weekend…Japanese camp is fun. Forgot to tell you that I am attending a Japanese camp where we learn all sorts of cool stuff. I learned all these useless proverbs like ‘My 10-year-long unmade futon is the source of my pride’ and ‘When running ninja-style, loose shoestrings bring great misery’ and such in Japanese…of course I a) wrote them down and b) didn’t bring them along [what am I going to do with Japanese phrases at a LAKE!?] Me and Sam [Sam is in my class along with a bunch more of my friends….] found out a bunch of funny things in Japanese….like ‘Utada Hikaru’ means shining rice patty song….and Yutaan actually mean 12 yards of courageous cloth. And that saikou [pronounce the same as psycho] means ‘the best’ or ‘the greatest’…which is amusing because you are crazy if you are a psycho…
I went on a jetski ride with my dad. It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome!!!!!!!!!!! BTW- I’m in Monticello, and if any of you know a lot about horse racing, you should know about Monticello…at least I think it’s horse racing. Isn’t that usually what ‘Raceway’ means…? We passed the Monticello Raceway on the way here. The ride is almost 2 hours X(. I hate long car rides….I read in First King of Shannara most of the way here.
Jetskis are really fun. If you go over the wake of a recently-passed boat, all this water splashes in your face, and then you go at, like, 50 miles an hour so it feels like your face is freezing off….yeah. I also found out today that my laptop [which I am typing on right now] can play DVDs, so I was watching X2…for the 2nd time -_-…before…
Before my fingers go numb from all this typing [this actually isn’t very much typing…for me, at least], I will go away and have more updates for you tomorrow…

Happy Independence Day, peoples! Anyway…yeah. My feet really hurt. *weird glances from readers* What? You try walking two miles uphill with flip-flops, and you’ll agree. -Yup. That’s how I started my morning….a two mile hike uphill in flip-flops. Then, we went to the beach again….fun! I actually went swimming this time [no, this isn’t the ocean beach, as you probably have gathered from the first part of this.] Then, me, my dad, my dad’s friend, and my dad’s friend’s friend – who is also our friend…[uck. Redundant] played ‘catch these little plastic ball thingies’….it was fun. Then we stopped. I came back and read a lot in First King of Shannara…really good book. I miss not having the ‘net…
Um…We went for an evening ride to the dam, and were coming back when this jetskier nearly hit us…my dad’s friend went crazy [since we were in a fairly new boat] and started swearing and stuff. …I was about to say ‘and that was fun’ but it wasn’t. The rest of the ride was, though. Haha! Dinner! Brisket! Yummy! Lecker!...yes, I am crazy, so don’t mind me.
Bye bye.
the man has a trailer and a 'fairly new boat'. what the heck's up with that? and where was your mum this whole time?
Posted by: Safaia at July 7, 2004 08:37 PMuh...The trialer is like an RV, only it's stationary, I guess...and it's like a summer trailer, not a trailer in a trailer park where he lives all year round..
My mOm was with us the whole time...unless you couldn't figure that out...
