Whee and cardboard box.

So it is a lovely saturday night, and I'm sitting here Skyping with Brian, trying to keep myself from eating more food, and telling myself it's okay I'm not doing homework, because I have several more free days to come. Midterms are over and I can finally relax a bit, catch up on gooball, consider playing more Durandal, and talk to my love <3 It's been nice.

A bit of a tissy hapened today between my roomate and I over a cardboard box. She and her friends are a tad messy, but that's beyond the point, and she got a care package from her folks and hasnt thrown away the box. It's been sitting by the couch as an extended coffee table. A few weeks ago I tossed it over to the trash corner (which is another story altogether that I wont talk about now) But she later moved it back. Today I was taking down her christmas lights that had been burnt out for over a month and decided I really didnt want that goddamned box in the living room. So when she came home, a conversation similar to the following occured:
"Can I ask you a question? Do you really want to keep that box out there?"
(she looks at me funny)"I didnt realise it was that big of a deal..."
"But it's tacky."
(she repeats what she just said, and I say whatever and leave)
So aparently she didnt take it well. I think it's goddamned ridiculous, and embarassing for when my folks visit.
But I am the child of an impulsive cleaner, so that may be influencing my feelings toward this.
She has since draped a blanket over the box, I assume in hopes that I dont complain to her about it anymore. :\

Whatever... I'm trying not to let it upset me too much. I hope you guys are having a lovely weekend.

It's just a box. Did it have any sentimental value?

Was that the right word?
