Last night I finished reading the original Alice in Wonderland and man, was it fucked. (This edition included Through the Looking Glass) I mean seriously. though I must add the numerous and usually funny puns were awesome.
So this morning I started Left Behind. I swear, if this book gets too "blarg jesus!" I'm going to put it back on the shelf. I've actually had this book for at least 4 years, I just never got around to reading it. I guess we'll see how things go.
I worked on my novel today for the first time in a month. I am so glad I did. I got it up to 108 pages, which doesn't feel like a lot for three years of work, but hell. I've definitely worked hard. Today's writing session took several hours, namely because I kept on feeling awful about what I was writing and getting lost in whatever music I was listening to. That might be why I had stopped listening to music when I wrote unless it was instrumental, but today was an exception. I had to badly hurt one of my characters and it felt horrible. It's not like I haven't hurt a character before, I mean hell, I've killed characters and stuff. But this was my main character, and she's very special to me. For those of you who don't quite get why this is a big deal, imagine hurting one of your children. It's almost that bad. Even if these are just children of the mind. (Hey, I have to read that book again. whole series. yeah...)
So yeah... thats that.
The only other thing I wanted to tell you guys is that for those who didn't see me freaking about it on #ev3 a few weeks back, Brian got tickets for us to go to a Queens of the Stone Age/Nine Inch Nails concert the end of september. And oh FUCK am I excited about it. For a while when school was in session I was like *obsessed* with Trent, and now it looks like I get to see him in real life *SQUEE* hehehehe... did I say "was obsessed"? :)
53 more days..... oh lord I cant wait. The only thing that sucks about it is that it is in Oakland, and it is the Friday of my first week of school, so my poor roommates (if I have any) have to immediately deal with Brian spending the night... (cross your fingers, I asked for a single dorm! I didn't get it last year but hell maybe I will this year!) and I really doubt I'm going to get another roommate like Stephanie, who went home every weekend.

I take it back, customer service isn't horribly bad. I've had a bunch of good days lately, and i've probably made almost 400 bucks already! yay. So I'm just making an entry for the sake of making an entry. don't have much to say.
hmm.
we went to a restaurant today and in the parking lot was a beat up little car that had a little plaque on the window that said "my other transport is the millennium falcon" and we thought it was cute. well when our waitress came to take our order, guess what her name was. Leia! So of course the first thing that comes to my mind is that that must be her car. My family and I were almost going to dare asking her (and other stupid questions like "are your parents star wars fans?") but we held our tongues.
oh, and the food was good.

Well, I think that is about it.
