Some like it hot...

A nice, cynical post about crazy conspiracy theorists.

Swallowing the Camel

I love that blog. I guess mainly because I enjoy making fun of conspiracy theorists, and that blog does a ton of it. I think that recent post basically sums up the spirit of the blog. It's the only way that a woman with a brain can cope with being married to a man who is a "Truther." Great stuff.

Answers to those burning questions.

Yes, Mental Floss magazine has come up with 25 of the most important questions in the history of the universe, and has answered them.

Neatorama

Questions include:

How many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop?

Why can't you tickle yourself?

Why does Hawaii have interstate highways?

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? And most importantly,

What are Sea-Monkeys, anyway?

Mystery ads in Canada...

So, apparently there are some amazingly funny ads going up in Canada for a new "drug" called Obay.

Joey Devilla

The basic message is that parents are too controlling of their children. Apparently they're supposed to be advertising certain colleges in Ontario. One comment on the blog says that it's probably supposed to mean that the colleges want kids to go for their dreams instead of having their parents make all their decisions for them. Funny stuff.
