Yes, it appears that Yes is an awesome band. And I must note before I go on that Safari must hate MT like a bitch. That's probably like the 10th time Safari's crashed when I'm writing a fricken' 3 page entry and then just gave up, hence why I never really post; not because I never think of it, but because I don't want to reiterate myself *again*. Luckily this time I did a c/p before it crashed, hence why you're reading this. Where was I? Ah yes, I'm in a pile of crap right now. I never have any free time, yet I'm taking up projects left and right. As a result, I can't do any of it. It's probably one of the most despairing things one could think of. Short of being in the dedicated workforce, I'm in a pretty bad case. I'm stuck in schoolwork, music, Scouts, clubs, RPGs, books, cults, web site design, a relationship (hehe, I'm talking to that person right now, but it's still very much in the works), general foruming, blogging (can't you see the excuses are getting lamer as they go on?), etc etc. Plus the fact that more than half of that requires the internet, and I can't even get that without special permission. Now this may all seem like the average teenager's life, crowded, busy, and generally out of place, but you can't argue with me. This is my blog, my views are the only ones that count, and you can't do jack to contradict me. :-)
sniffer commview crackRead on for updates on the projects I'm working on...
- The Orpheon Conspiracy has hit the pavement in terms of activity. As far as it's concerned, it's like I worked on it one night, and dropped it. Actually, I take that back. I *did* do something since the Prologue. I basically recorded an open audio recording of me explaining Orpheon to clear my thoughts and get the basics down. Haven't touched it since, or even converted it into mp3 so it can stop taking up about 300 spare MB of AIFF data...
- The *other* Orpheon, which I haven't told you about, is the name of my guitar that I got a few months ago (can't you tell I like that name?). Basically, there were two things I wanted to do with this topic. 1, get 'Orpheon' laser engraved on the metal bezel on the back of it, 2, actually record a song or two about it. Which leads me to my next project update.
- When The Clock Strikes Nine actually crossed my though patterns the last few days in the form of album art. It's going to be awhile until I open Photoshop with that in mind, though. However, for actual musical content, I've got two songs in the works: 'Orpheon', which is going to be my tribute to my guitar that bears that name, and to Rush's '2112/Discovery'; second song being 'Beautiful Sunrise', dedicated to a crush I have for someone...
- DyStudios, in case you haven't heard, is not only the producer of quality promotional and home media, but has also dropped like a brick since I wrote the Coming Soon page. I feel quite guilty right now since nfreader has given me some really cool thing to play with, but with my schedule, I can't use it. However, there is hope for this project in the foreseeable future. With the upcoming Washington, D.C. trip for my old middle school, DyStudios will actually get some *legit work* done. Hence, with this activity, I will be able to rectify some sort of logical and working site for DyStudios.
- As I, Danny Mendoza see it, the Articles are little scrap paper to the usefulness of an addendum to my will. Currently, all progress has stopped on it and there has been no time in Mrs. Boomer's algebra I class to contemplate it. Sorry guys, but I'm not going out soon, that's for sure.
- The relationship/crush I'm working on, which I've already mentioned two times here (ARGH YOU FOOL STOP SAYING THAT) is going slowly, if only. My accomplice-in-arms, whose name is withheld for security and privacy concerns, tells me that it's going smoothly, but when I'm near her, I can't really think right, and it's kinda worrying me. Meh, time well tell if things will work out or not. I'll start to keep this as an updated subject on this blog.
- With the new DyStudios site, I'm going to probably have a news blog for that; concerning mainly just topics relevant to DyStudios. But I'm going to keep this blog as my own personal one, with links from the former. And along with Dy4 HeadQuarters, which will end up like a personal site as well with dy4.studio-14.net being the more official one. Before the end of the year, I'm hoping for an entire Dy4 webring! *evil, EVula-like grin*
More completely stopped projects that I rant upon may be added as I see fit; as if reading all this was not worth it.
