Blacklist fixed, go me!

Whee. It only took me sacrificing a Saturday... actually, that's not true, but it did take me about 4 and a half hours to clear out everything. Factor in the time I took to eat a late breakfast/lunch and get sucked into a damn sappy movie on TV (Someone Like You, if you must know), and it pretty much killed my Saturday.

Thankfully, with gas prices being what they are, I wasn't planning on going out much this weekend anyway.

eh… what is the Blacklist, exactly?

The Blacklist runs in the background over the entire blog.evula.net system, preventing spam bots from posting bogus comments. Blog spam works differently; bots spam sites to get as many instances of a URL out into the world as possible, so that their Google ranking goes up (which, I would assume, somehow gets them money).

Blog spam is obnoxious to deal with, but MT-Blacklist is extremely effective. I can check all of the blogs at one time, and individual users can check their own blogs (and if they add another site to the blacklist, it protects *all* blogs).
