Black shirts coming to the Store soon!

CafePress just announced black t-shirts are available for its' members to use. Hot diggity damn. I was planning on switching from CafePress for this very reason, although that might still happen; the alternative site I found has a lot more variety in the products (a lot more colors than five), without some of the sillier stuff that CafePress has (not a bad thing, though).

Of course, "soon" is a relative phrase; I still don't have internet at home, and won't until I'm not spending $940 a month in collective rent (I'm not kidding; that's how much I'm spending right now). However, as soon as I'm online, I'll be working on the new files.

They only announced them since their competitor now sells a variety of print on demand dark shirts including black. Zazzle already is shipping theirs and not just black, but dark red, dark green, dark grey and navy blue

ohhh navy blue, i love that color... hmm could it be cause im enlisting into the Navy... naw... but now ive gotta go get me a tshirt. cause tehy are too kewl!

I'd never heard of Zazzle. The alternative I'm considering is SpreadShirt, which has an amazing variety of colors: http://www.spreadshirt.com/Product_Assortment.3.0.html

There are some things that SpreadShirt has that CafePress doesn't, and vice-versa. I'm still debating about whether I would move everything over to SpreadShirt, or just have two stores (which would be confusing; I'd need some way of distinguishing the two).

you could do it by color or design, or even by cost; but that wouldnt help the confusion too much.

Re: spam. You're tidy but not thorough, E. :P

Posted by: Jillian at November 17, 2005 05:19 PM

Oh, I realize there's plenty of spam about the place. I just don't have the time to clear out the blacklist to get it working (unless I want to stay after at work for a few hours).

Oddly enough, free projects don't take as high a priority as paying ones (the next show I'm doing is professional).

Posted by: EVula at November 18, 2005 04:46 PM

yea paying jobs/projects tend to rank up their on my priority list too... what a coincidence! would be even more of one if it was the same for, say: everyone else!

Mmm, you may force me to get one if the black sexiness becomes readily available.

And that's some evil rent.
