Now I'm thinking of doing something drastic. Seriously.
I'm considering replacing the main page with just a splash page, with the Lair content in its own subdomain, moving my blog over there (which means I might actually use it more often), and making my personal site a bit more "real" (as in, more than just a bunch of filler).
I'm also toying with the idea of pumping all the Lair content thru a CMS (looking at you, Wordpress) and maybe, maybe, getting it up and running again. I could use Wordpress for my blog as well, and that would allow people to log in and post their stuff themselves, rather than making me do everything (which, truth be told, is where the stumbling block was).
Overhauling everything would let me do all that wonderful "web 2.0" stuff that these crazy kids are talking about. I'm even using The Twitter; that's hip, right?
(in truth, if I could post stuff from my iPhone easily, I'd probably be a much chattier web person than I currently am; that's the primary reason I use Twitter as much as I do)Posted by Eric at February 10, 2009 06:19 PM
