So, it snows last night. I walk out to my car, and dammit, my Apple sticker in my back window fell off from the combination of freezing temperatures and then slight melting.

Its play time again!
For those that don't know, I've been active in theatre for the better part of the past 9 years. I started out as an actor, but lately I've settled comfortably into the role of tech (running the light board, which I hate, or doing backstage work, which I love). I'm also known as a total nazi when given authority over the backstage; I can't help it if I take my job seriously. :)
Anyway, I'm doing another show, Cherry Orchard, which is being produced by Act One (like that means anything to anyone outside the Nashville area). I've finally started going to rehearsals, so my spare time in the evenings is getting consumed by the show. We open on March 5th, and close the 20th. I'm ASM (Assistant Stage Manager) this time around, which means I get to be a nazi. Huzzah!
I also get to work with some friends, too. The director I've known for a while, and my friend Multi-Bob is in the show as well. I'm also working with another Eric, who I already knew as a friend-of-a-few-friends. Then there are the two lovely ladies of the show, Olivia and Holly, who are both very cool (but then again, I'm rather biased; cute girls who laugh at my jokes are always very cool). All in all, I'm happy to be doing the show; not only does it get me out of the apartment more than I normally would, but making good friends is always a good thing. :)
So, I woke up this morning and slowly made my way to my bathroom. Flip on the light, and gah! I've got blood on the side of my face!
I wash the dried blood from my face and reveal a quarter-inch gash by my mouth on the right side. No clue how it got there; I'm guessing that I tossed and turned during the night, and ended up slicing open my cheek while shifting. Kind of odd, though, since I cut my nails just a few days ago...
Hey, no one said that these blog entries were going to be stunningly interesting. ;)
I found out today that Cowboy Mouth, one of my favorite bands, is going to be playing in Nashville on my 21st birthday.
Some of you may not know how big a deal this is. Cowboy Mouth is one of the best live bands ever. They put on one hell of a good show, and have been able to count on me as a loony fanboy ever since I got to meet them this past summer. Incredibly nice people, very friendly, and very happy just to know that people enjoy what they do.
Anyway, it also pretty much solves any issues about a birthday gig. I'm just inviting a ton of friends to come to the concert. They'll have to buy their own tickets, but they won't have to get me any gifts. I'm hoping that afterwards we could all go out to dinner, but I'm still too excited about getting to see them again (and on my birthday, no less) to care about all the details. ;)
Worried that your EV plugin or Coldstone game might be ruined if you lose important files (like concept documentation or models for ships)? Worry no longer with backup.evula.net, the latest Imperial ploy to control absolutely everything. Er, I mean, to save your data. Yeah...
...I'd write a more involved advertising thing, but honestly, I think that the site sums it up pretty well. Upload your data to my servers, and voila, you don't have to worry about your computer exploding. Well, aside from the multitude of other problems that causes, but hey, one less headache is one less headache. ;)
