Just about every disaster movie ever made has terrible plot, acting, science, and pretty much everything else that movies need to be good. I still love them.
Conexant 878A MandrakeComedies have nothing on such classics as Atomic Train, Atomic Twister, Twister, Volcano, or Dante's Peak. If you want to laugh yourself silly for a few hours some night, just find one of these movies to watch. The worse they are, the better. If it has the word "Atomic" in it, it's bound to be hilarious.
Now, the thing to do is look for similarities in these movies. For instance, there is always a single parent, or divorced couple, or whatever. There is either some new romantic interest, or the couple gets back together again. The dog always survives. Then, look at the science involved in these disasters. It will almost always be horribly, horribly wrong.
I like to think of myself as a collector of sorts. I seek out new bad movies to watch. Disaster movies are good bets. So are horror films, but that's an entry for another time.
