Well, I've been using my own artwork for desktops for a while now, but lately I've been wondering it anybody might like them also. So I've been working on setting up a new part of the site for just such a purpose. Once I have created thumbnails and a webpage to hold them, I should be able to launch it with an initial few. Then, if people seem to like them, I'll add to it every so often with new creations.
crack Radmin 2.0Most of the initial offerings will be strange gray objects, with a gray background, and shadow. I think they're pretty neat. I created them in Wings3d by taking fairly normal objects and then beating the heck out of them. Then I brought them over to Bryce 5 to light and render them. I didn't do any texturing, because the contrasts between light reflecting off of the surface and shadowing looked pretty cool on its own. I'm also a pretty big fan of grayscale (although some subtle blues appear in a few).
Any others will be terrain scenery. I'm still not sure which ones to put in yet, since I have a lot of them, and only a few of them are worth sharing. I also have a couple for my yet-unnamed Nova TC, but I don't think I want to release them to the public just yet.
When the site is ready, I think I'll post one of the better ones on EVIG to advertise a bit.
