Very few people can claim to have been shot by the Vice President of America. Frankly I find the entire thing rather hilarious, and I can't help but to say, only half-jokingly, that it seems suspicious. It doesn't take much imagination to come up with all kinds of conspiracies. And hey, Dick is known for his temper.

What was most amusing was when local Rochester stations picked up on the story for their little advertisement during the evening hours. Instead of saying "Vice President Dick Cheney accidentally shot a fellow hunter in a hunting accident, news at 11!" they said simply "Dick Cheney shot a man!" in their rundown of the night's headlines.
Anyway, I expect the usual comedy types of things to have a field day with this news story.
