College Students Don't Always Update Each Day

Upcoming Break

I'm going to be gone for a few days, so my blog will experience a gap. I will be discussing this situation in greater detail for tomorrow's entry.

cdkey porshe

Do not fear! I will write up entries for each day either ahead of time or afterwards and post them when I get back. There's also a chance that I'll be able to snag some internet access and post them closer to their actual release times.

Too bad post-dating entries doesn't make them appear when you want them to...

See ya!

New Forums!

Introducing forums.mrxak.com, the greatest place to discuss mrxak.com-related stuff since email!

The past few days I've been thinking about and working on setting them up, and I'm quite pleased with the results. There is no custom theme yet, and the logo still says phpbb on it, but I've added all of the forums I initially want. I've also already installed a few mods.

So please go ahead and check them out, register, and start posting. It's pretty much set up to go along with mrxak.com, but there's a few general topics as well. I'd also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that the mrxak's Assorted Webspace Forum is the place to discuss this blog in greater depth.

Enjoy!

I just watched a funny show

Mythbusters is a show on the Discovery Channel about a couple of guys trying to disprove myths (all in the name of science). I haven't seen too many episodes, but this one was pretty good. Especially the myth about peeing on the third rail of a subway.

As it turns out, human urine is capable of conducting enough current to give a person a heart attack. However, in order for the stream to remain continuous all the way to the rail, they needed to shorten the distance to only a few inches and increase the diameter.

The moral of the story? Don't wander around barefoot at the subway in the rain, lean over, grab the third rail and pee on it. Otherwise, there's probably nothing to worry about.

Don't try this at home!

Coffee

Coffee doesn't really affect me that much. I can drink a few cups and go to sleep just as easily afterwards (assuming I was tired to begin with). It's supposed to be good for my asthma though, and I enjoy the flavor. It took a little while to get used to, but I like it now. I don't drink too much, but when I do it's usually in one of three methods.

The first method is to load it up with sugar and cream. Just the usual cup if coffee.

The second method is to put some into hot chocolate. This actually affects me more, because of the chocolate (duh!).

The third method is to pour some instant coffee crystals into my hand and dump them into my mouth. I let my saliva liquify them, and swallow. I generally do this when I don't have much time but still want some coffee.

That's right. Water in your coffee is for losers.

Now, I do actually have a fourth method, which is a special drink I use when I need to stay up very, very late and don't want to get too tired. I generally keep this recipe secret, but I'll share it with my nice readers. Start with a cup, and put in twice the normal amount of hot chocolate mix. I recommend Swiss Miss, two packets. Next, add three spoonfuls of instant coffee crystals and four spoonfuls of sugar. Pour in some half-and-half cream. At this point, your cup is have-full of solids with some cream trying to soak in. Start adding hot water slowly as you mix. It will be hard to mix it completely. Then toss in some mini-marshmallows on top. Drink up! It shouldn't be hot at all, because of the small amount of hot water added.

If that doesn't kill you, it will at least keep you energized for a few hours. Please use this only in emergency situations and DO NOT try more than one cup of this stuff. Not that I think you'd try. I generally feel pretty full after drinking it, and can't even think of making another.

So, how do you like your coffee?

Enjoy!

I'm Really Tired

The last two weeks have been pretty brutal. End of the quarter in school, major projects and tests, lots of fun.

So here I am staying up late. Yeah, I'm crazy.

Good night!
