After today, I only have 5 days left of High School. One of which will be taken up by two AP exams (bah, they just had to be on the same day, didn't they?). After that I have an internship with Verizon Labs (I can't say what I'm working on though, it's pretty secretive). Then on the first Friday of June I graduate. Then I'm off to California for a week and a half or so. Then I come back and go straight to work as Sound Designer for three plays. Then it's August. I have my 19th birthday, then at the end of the month I go off to RIT.
PartitionMagic v7.01Needless to say, it's been a long time coming, and I'm quite ready for everything to get moving along.
Have a great week!
If you haven't tried iTunes 4.5 yet, go ahead and download it. This update includes some insanely cool features.
Now what's interesting is the new Apple Lossless format. I can't tell any difference between it and AAC, to tell you the truth. I got a new CD today from Amazon and ripped it with both as a test. Please let me know if any of you can notice a difference.
But anyway, Party Shuffle is a brilliant piece of work, and there's a few other features tucked away in there too. Most of them I probably won't take advantage of (at least not for a while), but it's a great update to a great piece of software.
I have run into a small problem with one of my mrxak.com projects. I might be able to get around it though. I may need to pull off a few hacks (in the original sense of the word, of course, not the illegal version).
Anyway, I do have a new section of the site, so check it out. It's basically a list of ways to give me money, but not all of it is too serious.
Whee!
Yeah, yeah. I really missed a lot of entries. I will make them up eventually, so don't worry about it.
The good news is that I have a few big things coming for my website, and a few minor additions/changes have been made lately.
Also, one thing that completely slipped my mind back during the talks about suspending comments, is that I have some forums. Part of getting mrxak.com up and running obsoleted my evula.org site and forum. If I ever did stop comments, people could always respond there, and I could repost everything there too.
Anyway, as I have time (which I should have much more of soon) I will fill in the missing days.
Bye.
Okay, so I had a dream the other night where I killed a cat with my bare hands. It was stalking my 20 or so chickens so I snapped its neck and ripped its head off. No biggie, right?
Well apparently, some people on #ev3 thought that my dream was not so good. After a good deal of arguing about it, 3 people approved, 3 were against it, and one person was indifferent. So my question is, why is it so wrong? These were good egg-layers, and the cat was going to kill some of them.
Well after quite a bit of discussion, most of which involved a few people threatening me with bodily harm, I came up with a new idea to solve world hunger. Exterminate all of the cats, and feed them to hungry people. We'll fatten them up first, of course. Then naturally someone pointed out that dogs are eaten in some places too, so we'll eat the excess dogs as well. Think about all of the pets with no homes. Then think about all of the people that could be fed. Or alternatively, since dogs are clearly better as pets, the excess dogs can replace all the ex-cat-owner's pets.
In either case, I've just solved world hunger. Feel free to drop that Nobel Prize off at my house anytime.
See you later!
I love music. I also have a nice music-memory that basically lets me play songs in my head with near-perfect accuracy after only one or two hearings. I think I've mentioned that here before, but maybe not.
Anyway, I've been acquiring some new music lately, because I still enjoy the normal kind of listening. Specifically, I've completed my collection of The Matrix soundtracks for all three movies. I've also very recently bought the three soundtracks to the Lord of the Rings movies. Very nice indeed.
Happy Listening!
