Happy Valentine's Day...?

A happy Valentine's Day to one and all, I suppose. Today I got stuck with watching my nephew for 2-3 hours while the rest of my friends went to the movies. ^^;

"Hey little Al, how are you?"
"NO!"

For those that are obsolete, Little Al is my nephew. He is soooo spoiled, methinks. -_-;

Otherwise nothing terribly interesting has happened since yesterday. Well, I did find out that for Jazz Band auditions for high school, I have to play something with the time signature of 45/8, literally, and 15/16...o.O How am I supposed to count THAT? o.o; The try out song that we get to practice is really easy, so I guess you have to get it perfect before the try out date.

My report card was good. I had a bunch of A's and A+'s, and the only grade under an A I got was a B+ in Engineering. So close yet so far. T-T Well, I got straight A's last marking period, so I guess you can't get 'em every time. :P

I'm also upset because I have nothing to make anime music videos with! I tried iMovie, but for some reason it doesn't like my .mov, which I got after I doctored a .avi with DivX Doctor II (VERY useful, if you only have QuickTime and don't want to download MPlayer or VLC). Stupid iMovie grays out the .mov, which it's supposed to be able to read, but can see the .avis...Of course, it can't import the .avis ANYWAY because Quicktime can't play them...Argh! >.< And the only premiere try out I can find is only for Windows. >.< *rant grumble rant petulance rant*

Anyway, that's all for tonight.

Hmmph. You're lucky you got a B+ in Engineering. I got a C+, which is obviously worse. But of course, Mr. Gerner hated me because I "talked too much," and because "I only meet minimum requirements." Yeah right. I tried soooo hard. He was just looking for an excuse to give me a bad grade, I'm telling you.

On a lighter note, I'm happy a actaully got an A in math (obviously you did too). Stop spioling my...happy moments.

See ya tomorrow!

Chibi: the only reason you failed engineering was because you a. talked too much and b. couldn't make a bridge distinguishable from a wooden block.
