Midterms have started!!!oneonethree@2.
GPRS UMC EasyGPRSLet's see. I've had two wasted days thus far during midterms. On Friday, I wasn't supposed to go in since we had no music theory final and I had lunch 4th period (friday was midterms periods 3 and 4). Unfortunately, we were doing this crappy stuff in Music Theory that had nothing to do with what we learned and we had to learn the final stage of what we had to do. So, we had to go in.
The computers didn't work.
-_- So, we spent an hour trying to get them to work. They didn't. We left.
Now, Monday....sucked. We had this "blizzard" (only about 9 inches of snow) on saturday into sunday. It was very, very cold. And windy. Basically, they plowed the parking lots at the school but the wind blew everything back. Thus we had a delay, so we get in at 8:40. But there's an oh-so-important announcement my science class had to wait for (it was periods 2 and 5 day) before starting the midterm. We waited until 9:00, then some dude walked in and said a pipe froze and school was canceled (illegal to put kids in school without heating).
Anyway, the buses were still doing runs for the schools that were open, so they wouldn't get there until 10:30. Only a few payphones and a couple of phones worked in the entire building. Naturally, almost every kid had a cellphone, and a lot of them managed to find signals somehow (ridgefield = CELLPHONE BLACKHOLE -_-).
So, there were about 7 people, including my science teacher and myself, left in my science class. It was kind of nice because we stood around and talked, but yeah. He let me scout out where my brother was and tell him that we should just wait for the buses (kids weren't supposed to be dismissed, but a lot were anyway).
I saw my global history teacher on the way, which is cool 'cause she's awesome, and then went back to science where we talked some more. Eventually, at 10:10, we went to the student center on an "in school fieldtrip" due to boredom.
I found some nice people there and talked to them, then senjo showed up, then erin and sam, then my brother, and then Chibi. We talked until around 10:35 when the whole school was dismissed to the buses.
Most useless day of school EVARRR. Anyway, yesterday we finally had periods 2 and 5. Science was pretty easy (75 multiple choice, about 15-20 short essay/answer questions, 10 lab questions), and English was no more difficult than any other test we've had (vocab, literary terms in a poem, match speakers to quotes, analyze 3 quotes, one page each, and an essay that involved at least 2 books we've read this year). It just took longer. I wrote somewhere around 3 and a half pages for the essay question.
Today, we were supposed to have periods 1 and 8 midterms (german and global) but...SNOWDAY! -_-;; Argh!! I was supposed to get braces friday but now we have exams that day so I have to prolong the pain longer. Just get it over with!! T-T
I have to restudy for global, in any case. -_- Just to make sure I don't forget everything I studied yesterday. That's the only test I've studied for thus far, actually. Well, I did study the lives of stars for science, and I did study the vocab for english, but that was about it. I want to do really well on this test.
For me, midterms are mostly a game and a challenge where I get to test my limits. *shrug* It's not like I won't try my best just because I think of it that way, in any case.
Yeah.
