Alright, alright, I'll shut up now.
Anyway, today I went on the great Sims search.
Now, before I continue, understand two things; one, my brother owns The Sims Superstar, and two, his room is a PIGSTY of CDs. There's about 100 and half of them don't have cases.
I attempted to find the CD, since, of course, my brother was out testing for his permit. So I find the box, and I bring it up, and I see in big letters on the box "2 CDS" or something similar. I open it, and take a look at the CD case. It says, "2 CD." I, of course, assume that this means that it was the second CD out of two.
Groaning, I put it down and walk down the stairs and into the mess that is my brother's room and search through PILES of CDs. No go. I take a quick break and then recruit my mom, and the two of us searched through there. Finally, we just call my dad, who was with my brother, and asked him to ask my brother where it was. He said to wait until they got home.
So I'm sitting there, screaming to nobody in particular in my mind, "Why must you torture me so?!" It was as if my brother KNEW that I was going to install, and, purposely, just tortured me and hid it somewhere.
All hopes of installing it died, their faint whisps from the now-burned-out fire wafting past my nose. I drew in a shuddering breath of the smell and exhaled slowly, the taste of the fizzled out hope causing me to cough slightly.
Okay, so maybe I was a little over dramatic. Anyway, I forgot about it mostly until my brother and my dad got home, and he yelled to me "Turn the CD over!"
Confused, I picked up the CD, found the back of the case staring at me, but opened it from there anyway. I found CD one glare back at me, on the other side of the thin plastic covering of CD 2.
2 CD had actually meant 2 CDs.
I felt incredibly stupid. ^^;
