I have started a new game! Yay!
w3 patch 1.20 downladFor info, go to the news section of my site, and, after that, go to the main page for the game.
The computers are still too weak, so I have to make them a bit tougher, and there's this weird cheat where if you click the level up box when you level up, you level up again and again (with respect to how many clicks you do). I need to fix those things, and I need to add more maps and places to go to.
Thus, there will be no released copies of it for a while. Also, I don't think that it works under the newest Mac OS (Panther), but I haven't tried yet. I will, however, be adding pictures as I progress farther into the game development, so enjoy them as they come. :)

I just found out that my bestest friend, Oni/Claire, is moving after the end of this year. :(
I want to cry, or something, but I know that I still have the rest of this school year to spend with her, and that the past year and few months, we've been very good friends. I hope that our joint-written fics will continue on, despite the distance, and as will our friendship.
I'd say something sappy and movie-esque, well, more so than the previous stuff I've written, but that's going to be saved for when she actually moves. ^^;
Well, it's 12:22 AM, and I'm sitting here writing in my blog on a Friday night. yay.
Good news; Bud and I can play Halo together now since I downloaded an update! Yay! Usually we just end up trying to snipe each other (with bud usually winning), but it's still fun. ^^ I've also had Zeke put up the beginnings of Chapter 6 of Age of the Unknown , and I have no homework! Yay! More time for writing.
Bad news; my brother's come down with the stomach flu (not telling you guys which one :P), and unfortunately, it was made apparent to us during our family movie night while we were watching Monk. I feel really bad for him, and it smelled really bad for some time, even after my dad sprayed Mr. Clean (which actually just mixed with the smell and made it worse until about 10 minutes later). Since then, and then was about 10:30, he's only done it about two times I think, and the smell *has* gotten slightly better, although it still smells kinda bad.
In other words, keep him in your thoughts (and prayers, if you want) to get over this. Being sick in high school is not a good thing, as he told me once. You guys may want to keep away from me for a bit, because even if *I* don't get the stomach flu (I haven't in five years, even if everyone else has), I may pass it on to you guys anyway.
Uh oh, there he goes again. I hope the poor guy gets some sleep...
Anyway, good night all, have a good weekend, etc.
Well, it's been a while. Hope all of you are doing good.
My party is tomorrow! Yay! I'll see most of you there, and Bud, I'll probably drop by Ridge. Pet.
And I'm laughing at Chib cause he gets to freeze in Vermont all weekend on the Haystack ski trip. :P My mind is buzzing with stuff I need to catch up writing-wise...Good thing we have Monday off, I'll be able to catch up on writing and extract all this inspiration into something at least semi-worth while.
In other news, I got a 90 on a social studies test! Yay! I didn't even study. ^^;
Anyway, I finished chapter 7 of The Pearl last week, so here it is (I put the first part in too just in case you're lazy).
If you didn't know before, I tried to copy Steinbeck's style of writing, and my English teacher said that I did a good job, so I guess that's good. ^^;
Alright, click the "Continue reading Er, Stuff Again" link now, or perish in flames, mortal fiend (please disregard the fact that I am also mortal).
Chapter 7
The sun spread its golden rays, the warmth once again defeating the bleak night. It floated in the icy sky as the mournful star began the day.
To some, it had seemed that even the sun was reluctant to rise. And all the people of the town rose just as reluctantly as it, unwilling to join the thick cloud of grief that permeated the air of their huts. The smog-like emotion filled each person, waving its path from the brain to the stomach, seemingly dropping a stone through it.
The thick fog accompanied evil, and, what each man or woman or child or animal did or did not know, was that evil rested inside each person and animal, no matter how pure they seemed. Resting inside, it snarled and twisted and waited to lay its ugly eggs of doubt and discontent when its victim was the most vulnerable. And suddenly the world would consist of only that victim and that victim’s needs, and nothing could break the bonds between evil and its unknowing victim.
