...I'm not entirely sure why I'm writing this entry.
doom ericsson k700iBut happy Valentine's Day! ^_^ :D Chibi-kun is soo sweet. He sent me this really cute e-card. :)
Anyway, I had a hilarious conversation with Senjo, but before I start, let me explain something; there is this kid named Todd who always asks Senjo for the homework (due that same day) for French during lunch. I don't know him very well; I've seen him around a few times and I knew him a bit in middle school, but that's my extent of knowing him.
In any case, I always joke about how he comes over to our table to get the homework all the time (and I know they're in the same French class), so for today this is what happened online (conversationally) between senjo and me:
"Senjo
4:07 PM
heh
4:10
Oh, the oddest thing happened in French
Neko
4:10 PM
?
4:10 PM
Todd confessed his undying love for you?
Senjo
4:10 PM
Er..
4:11 PM
Well, he was probably joking"
I'm the only one who found this that amusing, but I started cracking up when she said that.
In other news...um...Chibi got accepted into AP World History! ^_^ I *might* be able to get in, but I don't think so. My essay abilities still aren't that great, and I have straight B+'s in English (you need A's). I don't think I'd really want to, anyway. Global history is always cool, but I find what we're doing this year a lot more interesting than what we'll be doing next year. If there was an AP version of Global History I, I would take it without a doubt.
My oldest brother moved to Minnesota Wednesday...yes, he's 27 and lived out of the house...I haven't seen him/talked to him since Christmas (though my mom has). My mom's suffering from some separation anxiety, but was soothed after he called and said that he's doing well and has a place to live and has applied for a job.
And...um...STUFF.
Oh yeah, I got home on Friday and I had a 100º fever. Whee! I probably had it in school too. So I ended up missing the party erin threw and crap. So I slept and stuff, and I slept some more on saturday, had a BIGGGG orange, slept some, woke up sunday, and I felt better. Today I'm feeling pretty good. No runny nose, no cough. My head just hurts and my throat died (and I can barely hear).
I got really bored last weekend. So I took two really girly songs and slowed them down. Here are the final products:
Butterfly Upswing Mix (that's where "buttup" comes from)
Have fun.

Yes, nyer is officially my sound. Whee. ^^
Ugh. I think I'm coming down with something. I feel tired all the time (okay, that's not THAT unusual...-_- but, like, it affects my mood more), I have coughing fits (not *too* often, but nonetheless), and my eyes burn. :( *whine* The headaches I've been suffering from aren't that unusual either, but they've been happening more frequently.
I got my global test back. I didn't do so well on the essay. -_- I got an 87% overall, but I got a 92% on multiple choice which was 70% of the test, and somehow my grade went from there to 87% because of the essay. And the essay was only worth 30%. I'm sure you can figure out that I didn't exactly do well. -_-;;; All of the problems I worried about were valid, it seems. ^^;
I drew an actually decent picture and made this spiff-tastic (heh, not really, it has a few problems) banner to go with it:

^^ Made (after quite an epic and vicious battle) with ImageReady and Photoshop.
In other news, apparently there's a basketball player by the name Lucious Harris...No, unfortunately his first name is not pronounced like the actual word.
Also in other news (literally), apparently birds are actually considered very intelligent creatures, officially. I'm still trying to figure out what, "It was beautiful story..." at the end of the article meant. :P
We talked about ...semi-apocalypses?...in science today. Such as - Yosemite is actually a super volcano that erupts every 600,000 years. Guess how long it's been since it last erupted? 600,000 years. Ice ages happen every 25,000-50,000 years, and it's been 50,000 years since the last ice age. Fun. ^_^; We also talked about how the Global Warming that is doomed to kill us all that environmentalists scream about is actually a load of balogna.
(No one can actually prove that the whole in the ozone layer was caused by us - we've only known about it for a relatively short time. We can't really tell yet when it was formed or what caused it. And in any case, cars create ozone [O3]. at this level of altitude it's toxic, but some of it does get back into the atmosphere, so all those cares that are destroying everything and greenhouse gases and whatnot are actually helping the ozone layer. Plus, the Earth's orbit is not perfect or the same every time; the earth gets closer to the sun and farther away, so it goes through warm and cold periods. Also, in order for there to be enough stuff in the air to actually make it so bad on Earth with greenhouse gases to start killing stuff, we'd have to multiply our...emission?...of carbon dioxide by 4. Heh.
People complain about the trees being cut down [I'm talking about forests mostly uninhabited, in this case] but there's so much other vegetation on Earth [grass, etc.] that it probably won't make much of a difference.)
