Okay, the final plan for joining the band in San Antonio broke apart this afternoon on Truxon's end. Don't know exactly what happened. Still, I gave it the effort it was worth. I'll admit it doesn't look like there's going to be much to do instead this weekend.
What I regret is that the one person who was going to make this idea worthwhile doesn't even know I care in the first place.
Anyway, if Lucas had his way I guess I would be making another comic to pass the time...I probably will. What else? If you have the fortune of knowing what the Albatross project is, you know it needs at least three people at a time to work. That would probably be taken from the four official group members, of which Andrew is busy on weekends and Jared is on the trip.
In conclusion, I think I'll just relax for now and hope that the inevitable prevalence of serendipity won't take too damn long. No, really.
I released the new Roosterman, looks like people enjoyed it.
I think I should probably stop putting things into writing like I did about the trip, because suddenly it has occurred to Armen what I've actually been talking about the whole time and he doesn't think he can go. Doesn't really make sense for me to go just with Truxon since he actually has a reason to be there. Oh well. At least it looks like everybody might be good for a group deal on Easter weekend.
Hmm...I guess I should have called up Flannery today.
By the way, a four hour detention is as long as it sounds.
First thing I want to do is thank Brooke and Nemo for their help recently. I got to see some of my favorite people today after being away for a while, and the weather is warming up, so it's hard to complain. One of them I wish I could see more of, but I guess it'll have to wait.
That Band/Orchestra trip is next weekend, and i've basically told Jared for sure that Armen and I are following in the truck. Truxon might be persuaded to join us. Either way it sounds fun, and anything can be fun if we act enough like idiots. Who can argue with that rule?
Since I don't expect to be doing much this weekend, I might finally get the next episode of Roosterman done. For anyone who hasn't heard my excuses, i've been waiting until I can get back into a more regular schedule for them.
Oh hey, maybe it's a good time to start the sketch show too...
It took a while, but Eric has activated this account and now I have a blog. Natalie said it was a good idea, so that's more than enough for me. I'll just have to get used to posting in it.
I was in ISS again today, and I will be tomorrow. I'm looking forward to Thursday, if only because Flannery and I can yell Chappelle's Show quotes at each other for about half an hour. Hopefully Jared will be around this weekend, since i'm guessing he was at the farm all break. I didn't really do anything at all myself. It's too bad. On the bright side there's a new charter revision, and I ordered some stuff for the group. Maybe we can even get the sketch show going before April.
That's all I can think of now. Everybody try and have a good week.
