So me and my friend went mountain biking today. Well, it wasn't so much as mountain biking as it was... mud biking. >:)
motorolla t720 PSTLong story short, we ditched the boring, hard dirt trail to go through several mud piles, off-road-road (yes) dirt trails and a creek. Yes. We went through a creek. We came out of it looking like some animal shat mud on us and our bikes, but damn, it was fun. It was especially fun going into baja fresh with our mud-covered clothes.
Then later today me and dad took the boring paved trail, but it was fun biking with him anyway.
I need to do this more. :D
*falls over*
I'm so stressed out about school. On a daily basis I go through this worst-case scenario in my mind about how I fail and have to re-take the 10th grade. Even when I learn that my math grade is a B (w00t!!!) I still have this looming feeling of dread in the back of my mind.
I mean, I'm sure I won't fail school, but I'm always afraid of it..
I just need better study habits. I'm working on it.
In other news, I'm riding my bike more often. In fact, in just about an hour me and my friend are going to go do some of-road biking on these trails near a local school. Assuming the dirt hasn't turned into mud, it should be a fun trip. If the dirt has turned into mud, there's always this other (but much more challenging) trail behind my house. Good times.
Snail races. Mrs. M playing the kazoo. NUTS! NUTS!!!
o.o
Today was my birthday, but it had one of the most shittiest beginnings ever. Let's see.. first I was late for my carpool. I seriously woke up to the horn of their car honking at me, which caused me to flip out. L told me later that it sounded like a murder scene in my house. Hee hee....
Since I couldn't take a shower, I felt sticky all day at school. Then I learned that I failed a spanish test and didn't do well on a geometry test. Arg... Also I have a C- in bio. I thought I had a lot better. ;_; I'm gonna have to work hard to bring my grades up. I wish we all lived in the matrix, where we could download stuff to our brain, or some such.
But my friends were super cool. I got a nice adventure pig pen from L, hulk gloves from H and maybe an iTunes Gift Certificate from J. Wheeee!
*does the birthday dance*
Been raining pretty hard all day, and most of yesterday. Flood warnings in some places. Good thing I live on a hill. I guess. *watches out for landslides*
... Tomorrow's gonna come too soon...
So I'm watching TV today, and I see this spot on TV for Apple Jacks. In it, these kids are having a spaz because Apple Jacks (which the commerical makes out to be some large corporation that controls the nation's supply of Apple Jacks cereal.. or something) changed the shape of their cereal from the Cheeri-os type circle to a shape resembling real jacks.
One kid calls up his friend and practically screams: "They changed the shape of Apple Jacks!" following up with a lame joke about "They can't make sense!"
