If no body shopped at wal-mart, (NOBODY) how long until they go out of business do you think? I'd be more then happy for them to go out of business, the aren't good for the economy.
Neverwinter Nights is the most agonizing game i've played so far. With the possible exception of Dues Ex, that really did eventually break my nerves. Anyways, Neverwinter Nights has awesome graphics, awesome requirements, but really sucks when it comes to actually getting the game to work. So far my problems are that my saved game won't load, it quits after about five minutes of playing and downloading the patch was a pain, and I can't join any multiplayer online games. Sure its been fun playing it, it gets the highest complements in that regard, BUT WHY IS THERE NO INSTALLER FOR THE FREAKIN PATCH? Why do I have to download a patch, another version of stuffit expander, muck around in terminal, reinstall the game, and the thing still doesn't work? Why can't there just be a program to update from when it knows there's an update?
Awesome game. Too bad it was made by people who care about role playing, hijacked by companies that wanted to sell to the ga-ga graphics market and the people who actually wanted to make it work were left out in the cold. Chalk up another game that i've gotten and disliked, I seem to be on a streak of games like that as far as my last game purchases go. Dungeon Seige was a bust, Age of Mythology was a bust and now Neverwinter Nights. Maybe because they were all ported from windoze? (read 'ga-ga' market)
In other news, I saw Harry Potter three. Really good. Heromine (however you spell in) is really hot. In other aspects really good movie too. I want to see it again, and that is saying a LOT!
